Verdict

El Astronaute has already won over course and distance and is bidding for a hat-trick, but will need to find more improvement. Veteran Duke Of Firenze is also racing off a career high, as is Kimberella, who was outclassed in the Palace House Stakes last time. Veteran Desert Law won this race two years ago and appeared in good heart when winning at Musselburgh, but whether he retains his old ability is open to question, so in a wide open race, its worth taking a chance on EXCESSABLE. The four-year-old is taking a big step up in class but is going the right way and looks to be on a good mark. Orvar showed some promise for Robert Cowell on his return to action last month and can make the frame.
