Verdict

MAJESTIC TIMELINE won this last year beating tonight's rival Sylvan Mist just under 2l. The runner-up is just 1lb better off and the winner can go in again as he was having his first run since May when showing good pace here three weeks ago. Both Danz Gift and Speed Dream ran well in that latter race and neither can be dismissed but Strategic Heights looks a bigger threat as he completed a course and distance hat-trick in February and failed by just a short-head to complete a four-timer off a higher mark than this. Gordon Elliott has acquired National Service from Stuart Williams but he never won in the UK after making a successful debut at Kempton a year ago while another UK import, Canon Law, has never raced at a trip as short as this.
