Verdict

Stall 6 has been responsible for the last two winners and Latchet occupies that berth here. Jim Bolger's mare has gone close to doubling her winning tally in her last two starts though is now 11lb higher than when scoring in January. ISEEBREEZE was making her handicap debut when headed in the final strides last month after attempting to make all. She's been raised 3lb but is entitled to have come on for the run and can go one better. Pedro De Styles is another lightly-raced type who showed better form last time while Ken's Sam's has been running well though over shorter trips. Northern Surprise pops up every now and then though appears better over an extra furlong while Three Majors is well enough handicapped and hasn't been running as badly as form figures suggest.
