Verdict

Stealth is 0-18 but couldn't have gone much closer when headed in the final strides last month, where Noble Intention was just behind. He was earlier 5l behind Spanish Dawn and the winner almost followed up a couple of weeks later. John McConnell's mare should go well while the maiden New Vocation returns to her best trip and has dropped to a winnable mark. Royal Admiral is returning from a long break and tackles this longer trip for the first time while Yarraman did better when stepped up to 1m4f last week. ALWARDA won over a mile in December and though she hasn't quite proved herself over this trip she's performed well enough to suggest it won't be an inconvenience and she gets the nod in a tricky finale.
