AARED won here in April and again at Leopardstown in August before an excellent run in the Irish Cambridgeshire, form that gives him an obvious chance even in this tight handicap. Bishan Bedi was in superb form here last winter, completing a double in a higher-class race than this, though hasn't run since February. Hurricane Cass won over the track and trip in April and has produced two very good runs over further on his two latest starts so it's a surprise that he's dropped slightly in the ratings. Hat Alnasar completed a hat-trick here in the spring and shot up the weights but he's now just 3lb higher than his last winning mark. Hes Our Music hasn't won for over a year but has been running well enough to consider from a 7lb lower mark but Tonkinese has done better over longer trips in recent weeks. Mcguigan completed a Leopardstown double in August and has run well here in the past while Northern Surprise has a fine record on the track and would be a threat if ready after a long break.
