Manorov is consistent on the track and has run well in his two latest starts though he twice finished behind War Room here in the summer. The latter suffered in the weights as a consequence but is now just 1lb higher than his latest victory and he's back over his best trip. Liz Doyle has been unable find a race for Red Words, who has finished a close second on her last four starts over the track and trip and keeps going up in the weights. She should make a bold bid again but was beaten by SKERRAY RULES in October and Mick Halford's filly very nearly defied a 7lb rise on her next start when just failing to concede 9lb to the winner. From the same mark, she looks the one to be on.
