Verdict

Free State cost Godolphin 160,000 guineas and has joined Denis Hogan after two moderate efforts so is one to note when sent into handicaps. Siege Of Orleans cost Coolmore $325,000 and though he's shown little there's every chance he can do better on this surface. Jim Bolger has been unable to find a race for Mcguigan, who started odds-on for a moderate maiden here last month but was outpaced by Chicago Fall, who has been well beaten subsequently. Storm Ranger could only plod on at one pace in third and looks held, so this can go to EAGLE VALLEY. Tracey Collins' filly ran into an above-average maiden winner here last month when a couple of lengths behind Façade and third-placed Perfect Fit looks held.
