In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien relies on the newcomers Queen Of India, who is a close relative of the Dewhurst winner Beethoven, and War Goddess, a sister to two middle-distance winners in France and related to the useful Glowing. Both have the pedigree to do well but this looks a stronger than usual maiden for the track. Henry De Bromhead isn't best known for training two-year-olds but looks to have a good one on his hands in Double Espresso, who made a very encouraging debut in what looked a strong maiden here last month. High Honcho was going on nicely at the finish over 7f here on her debut and is certain to appreciate the extra and Rocknrollbaby, who finished just in front of her, already had plenty of experience and appears unlikely to confirm the form. PROVE THE POINT was narrowly beaten by a subsequent Listed winner at Tipperary before running in a Group 3 and the Tattersalls sales race at the Curragh. This is more her standard and she's handed the vote.
