Pivot Bridge had been hurdling before completing a double at Wolverhampton and the presence of Patrick Mullins in the saddle suggests connections are hoping for a hat-trick. The jockey's father has the hurdler Wood Breizh engaged here with Katie Walsh on board and though this is his first all-weather start he acts on any surface on Turf. War Goddess represents Joseph O'Brien but she's never raced beyond 1m4f, though has been in very good form. Her stable companion Tommy Welsh has a similar profile though he looked a staying type when beating New Direction over 1m4f last month. PRINCE CHARMIN' could be the answer to this puzzle as he won a Tramore maiden for John Oxx last summer and has shown promise in two starts over timber for Tony Martin. He's the type to improve with age and should give a good account.
