Verdict

This opener won’t take much winning and Glimpse Of Gold, who has ability when in the mood, is reunited with Richard Johnson after flopping on heavy going at Uttoxeter back in December. RECOGNITION’s form since he made a winning debut at Market Rasen last July has been patchy to say the least. But the four-year-old was still travelling strongly when falling on the final circuit in a much better race than this at Musselburgh last month and could be on the way back. Monfass may do better now handicapping but the others are a poor bunch on the whole.
