Verdict

Noel Meade saddles the top two in the handicap with last year’s second Tulsa Jack, who races off the same mark, preferred to Wounded Warrior but Gordon Elliott’s two runners look to hold stronger claims. Poormans Hill has his ground and is two from two around here. He had last year’s winner Anseanachai Cliste behind at Down Royal in November. Out Sam has yet to strike form for his new yard, though is now visored and Davy Russell takes over the reins. Oscar Lantern was back in fourth when DINNIE’S VINNIE followed up his Punchestown victory at Naas. The former is 6lb better off today and the latter has his stamina to prove over this longer trip but is in such good heart that he may be worth sticking with. Undressed may also struggle to last home but is another arriving in good form.
