Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer USUEL SMURFER showed promise in bumpers before a fine debut over timber at Killarney where he was attempting to concede Wontbelongnow 7lb. He faces fast going for the first time so he's no certainty but that form looks good enough. My Aya was beaten 10l in a soft-ground point-to-point in February and is one for the future but Distant Sound showed real promise at Fairyhouse in February though he's another facing this sort of ground for the first time. Dual winning point-to-pointer Our Girl Rosey was beaten a long way on her bumper debut at Wexford.
