In depth

Verdict

A moderate finale but ACCIDENTAL OUTLAW can recoup losses sustained at Navan and Leopardstown. Charles O'Brien's charge was well backed for both starts and though beaten into third behind La Chassotte on the latter occasion he ran very well and was going on strongly in the closing stages. Irish Reel's one victory came on heavy going at Tipperary and his only start on fast ground resulted in a poor effort but Frenka made a reasonable return after a very long break behind Luddenmore at Listowel a couple of weeks ago and is sure to have come on for the run. Vampire Blues certainly wasn't disgraced behind Gypsy Rose at Clonmel so connections will be pleased to see her dropped 2lbs in the weights.
