We open up with a wide open handicap for amateur riders where MUSTAJED looks well weighted on his return to the turf so is just given the nod ahead of Nisaal while Magic Haze might be value for each-way punters. The selection has been holding his form well in recent starts and races here a full four pounds better off than his last two runs which has seen him find just the one too good in both. They've been over longer trips but he has a score over this far so with the ground conditions no problem either he has plenty in his favour. Nisaal is just a pound heavier in the handicap than when just missing out at Hamilton on his last turf start. Based on his form in the middle of last summer he's well treated and after a few spins on the polytrack he should be fit enough. Magic Haze is still unexposed and followed a win at Southwell on his all-weather debut with a good effort in defeat at the same venue last time. The form from that last run is rock solid and he should be able to improve again to go well off this revised mark. Ella Woodcock is looking solid but might just be in the grip of the assessor and Dream In Blue has place claims after some good efforts in plating class races at Southwell. Not an easy start but Mustajed looks weighted to win it.
