In depth

Verdict

The more rain the better for The New Pharaoh, who was only beaten a nose over course and distance at the start of the month. Prendergast Hill usually takes on stronger opposition but he is better over 1m2f. It’s about time Busy Street was winning on Turf but he was beaten by Alphabetical Order on identical terms at Beverley last year. PARISH BOY hasn’t won since landing a Listed contest for Jim Bolger in 2014 but he only found one too good here last week off today’s mark so is given one final chance to come good again.
