In depth

Verdict

Mother Jones has slipped down the weights since winning her maiden in soft ground last season and took advantage with a couple of wins on the all-weather, including last time at Wolverhampton. She has leading claims in this but MATA HARI BLUE is just preferred. Her last two wins were on soft going and she's a winner without a penalty after landing an apprentice race at Ripon last week. Red Roar will have come on for her reappearance third at Redcar when behind runner-up Bailadeira, though she tends to save her best for the minimum trip at Beverley, while Hoppy's Flyer could make the frame dropping back in distance.
