Auction had The Lark and Kalispell just behind when third at Nottingham earlier this month but she'd already had a run prior to that race whereas her two rivals were making their debuts. There may not be much between the trio here. Roanne is improving with experience judged on her Leicester fourth while Simply Success can only improve on her debut sixth at Thirsk in July. The Raven's Pass filly Winter Snow will sport Godolphin's first colours, however. Vicky Valentine has only found one too good at Thirsk and Haydock but tries a new trip here while Curl has become expensive to follow and is now blinkered. QAWAAFY has a cracking pedigree and had a nice introduction at Newmarket in August. She can land this en route to better things.
