Verdict

Cersei won a maiden over this trip at Redcar on her reappearance but couldn't follow up on her handicap debut at Nottingham. However, she enjoys cut in the ground and is unlikely to be far away again. Both of Laughton's victories have come on fast going so conditions could be a problem and we prefer SPANISH CITY. It was also quick ground when he won at Windsor last month but he was second on good to soft at Newcastle last year and has only had three run - this intermediate distance should suit. Chez Vegas sprang a surprise in a maiden over 6f here last month and makes more appeal than Alsvinder and Kestrel Call of the others.
