Hyland Heather was only beaten a neck at York in October and half-a-length at Catterick on her reappearance so wouldn't be winning out of turn. Neither would Andar, though he was odds-on when second for the fifth time in seven starts at Bath a couple of weeks ago. TOMMY G has the same handicap rating as the latter and found 5f too short at Newcastle last time. Placed twice over 7f, this may prove his optimum trip. Khor Al Udaid has been racing over further and the Salisbury third may find a few of these too speedy.
