Random Native would have claims on the pick of his form but that has been on a faster surface and a safer bet looks to be Macs Goose, who gets the vote with Prince Linamix rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was formerly trained in Ireland but is now in the care of Charlie Mann, handles plenty of cut in the ground and she looks well treated racing off just a 3lb higher mark than when a close second at Folkestone on her first run for new connections. Wotchalike has slipped to an attractive mark but is hard to recommend on recent evidence, while Royal Melbourne is capable but inconsistent. Similar comments apply to Faversham and of more interest may be Irish raider Prince Linamix who will relish the underfoot conditions and has to be respected in this poor contest. Charlie Mann has his string in good form at present though and, with the ground to suit, Macs Goose is taken to give his handler another winner.
