The big field and strong pace should suit BROUGHTONS POINT and she gets the nod. Willie Musson's filly was perhaps found out by an uneven gallop at Warwick last time but is more interesting returned to a bigger field here on a flat track that should suit. Red Wine loves a big field and might run beyond expectations, whilst Peintre D'Argent's form this year is solid and she still looks fairly handicapped. Descaro stays two miles and further and along with Regal Act, who is fitted with first time cheek-pieces, would not want this to become tactical. Of more interest are Comedy Act and the runaway Epsom winner Missionaire, but it would be folly to ignore the claims of Arab League or the visored Ashbrittle. Kieren Fallon looks an eye-catching jockey booking for the well-handicapped Spring Jim and he is another to consider in a very tough handicap.
