      Verdict

Fagan is marginally preferred to stablemate Boldmere and also Fidux on these terms but has to give weight to both DIDERO VALLIS and The Kings Writ. The latter followed up a win at Warwick on New Year’s Eve with a second at Hereford a month later but was pulled up at Exeter on his reappearance when Venetia Williams’ charge finished third, despite losing a shoe on the way round.
