In depth

Verdict

A drop in trip will suit STAYING ON who is preferred to Atlantic Sport and Blythe Knight. The selection comes here fresh after a winter break and his official rating of 108 gives him an obvious chance. All of his wins have comes at a mile or less so the drop in trip is in his favour, as is the quick ground, and it would be a surprise were he to finish outside of the first three. Atlantic Sport has a 3lb penalty for a Listed win when last seen in September. He has shown an aptitude for this quicker ground before and if he has strengthened up over the winter then he should get this trip ok. King Of Dixie landed a Kempton conditions race in March but he has a bit to find now back up in class, however having won half of his eight career starts it would be unwise to rule him out. Unnefer is the top-rated on official figures and Henry Cecil has started the season well; it will be interesting to see how he copes with the drop in trip but we are happy to side with Staying On.
