Sir Michael Stoute always has to be given the utmost respect when he sends one up to Town Moor but Krynica, who won in a good time on her debut at Pontefract, may find her match with Harvest Warrior, who edges the vote here. Others of interest are: Abraxas Antelope, who made a winning debut as the first two-year-old in the colours of Graham Wylie, and Elgin Marbles, who showed a good attitude when winning at Bath in April. But the fact that he has not been seen out since then has to be a slight worry in this better grade of contest and, like Cadogen, who showed little encouragement on his debut, is probably best watched here. Krynica responded well under the Fallon drive when edging a narrow verdict on her racecourse bow and is entitled to have come on for the experience gained. However, Harvest Warrior has got better with each of his three previous starts and, with his proven ability to act on the predicted going, he may be too wise for them all this time around.
