In depth

Verdict

Full Irish is taken to complete a fine days work for Lungo and Dobbin. TEAMtalk's selected must have one of the best records in racing as he has won six of his completed seven starts. Top class chaser Direct Route returns to action, but this will be his first race over timber since 1997 and he will surely find these too sharp for him now. Castleshane will ensure there is no hanging around and will certainly find this easier than when down the field in the Fighting Fifth. Benbyas, a useful hurdler at best, seems out of sorts at present and isn't guarenteed to get his own way in front.
