A big and classy field for this valuable and popular sales race. There are any number to consider but our pin has fallen against the name of Cop Hill ad. Among the field are the Lowther Stakes fourth, Valjarv; the Super Sprint ninth Trick Cyclist, who finished well there after rearing when the stalls opened in that five-furlong event (although stable jockey Martin Dwyer has elected to ride the yard's other runner, Makila King, today); David Nicholls' well-regarded and likeable Skyharbor; the consistent Group 3 Molecomb runner-up Nights Cross; Jamie Osborne's once-raced winner Desperate Dan; the July Stakes runner-up and Gimcrack fifth, Cape Fear; good recent Sandown winner, Psychiatrist; and the Molecomb fifth and Listed York runner-up last time, If Paradise. The winner should come from this list with, as we say, our hopes lying with the tough Super Sales runner-up and Richmond Stakes fifth, Cop Hill Lad.
