In depth

Verdict

Three of these are clear of the rest on today’s terms with NEMORALIA making most appeal. She won a Group 3 at York in good style last month giving the impression there was even more to come from her this year. Lumiere returned the clear winner of a Listed contest at Newmarket in between a couple of poor efforts in Group 1 races and this looks more her level. But it’s more difficult to get handle on Same Jurisdiction, a runner-up in a Grade 1 in her native South Africa back in January but having her first start for Ed Dunlop with Ryan Moore in the plate. The remainder look up against it at the weights, though La Rioja was rated 6lb higher at the start of the year and may prove best of them.
