In depth

Verdict

Terry¿s Tip has experience and form on his side and is taken to win this maiden at the expense of First Trim and Town And Gown. The selection has run well on all five starts without success and he caught the eye when third of fifteen behind Celtic Lynn last time. That was here over six furlongs and he now drops down to the minimum five furlongs which should benefit him as he has always shown plenty of speed in his races. This also looks his easiest task to date so if producing his best he should prove difficult to beat. First Trim looked progressive last season but on the evidence of his seasonal reappearance he will have step up a gear or two if he is to trouble the judge. Town And Gown looks more likely to enter the frame again after running well on the all weather during the winter months so any market support should be noted. But for the winner we return to Terry¿s Tip.
