In depth

Verdict

Spring Tale improved from his debut and is taken to win third time of asking at the expense of Steel Stockholder and Topolski. The selection caught the eye last time out when second to Barbee over course and distance and will not have to show any further improvement to break his maiden tag here. Steel Stockholder may fair better in handicaps form now on but has shown more than enough on his three outings to suggest he can enter the frame. While of the newcomers Topolski looks the most interesting so is worth noting in the betting market. But for the winner we return to Spring Tale.
