In depth

Verdict

With both Law Breaker and Warlingham seemingly out of their depth the other three runners look the ones to concentrate on. Peter Makin's Spencers Wood has shown little in two starts so far this term but should be better suited by the softer ground here, as should Bryan McMahon's Needwood Blade, who has been in better form recently. Resplendent Cee has yet to prove his effectiveness on going as testing as this.
