Camps Bay would be a serious player at this level if it could be guaranteed that he would turn up in the right frame of mind, however, that assumption is a big gamble in itself so it can pay to take a chance that RUSSIAN GEORGE is capable of following up last week's success at Haydock; Dream Of Fortune and Piquante are others to bear in mind. Piquante made steady progress during her time with Michael Bell and, being only lightly raced; she has a bit more to offer. Therefore, Russian George may be a more profitable partner to side with on this occasion. The four-year-old displayed a willing attitude on Merseyside seven days ago and, from just a 4lb higher mark, Russian George has a live chance of giving his inexperienced rider a day to remember.
