Afternoon Sunlight had a head to spare over Palace in the 1000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown when Waltzing Matilda wasn't far behind. She's since been touched off by Parish Hall over a slightly longer trip here and may have to give best to her stablemate CARLA BIANCA. She's beaten both Palace and Alive Alive Oh into second recently and is progressing fast enough to complete a four-timer. Pearl Of Africa may do best of the remainder.
