Verdict

Wayne Lordan gets the ride on Ballydoyle's Turnberry Isle, whose best run was over this trip on ground with some give at Limerick. Marshall Jennings bounced back to winning ways to beat the in-form Annie Fior at Cork where he was conceding 21lb so he can make a bold bid to follow up though he's very closely matched with third-placed Port Lions, who has since won at Naas. Jassaar is on a hat-trick after completing a double in a very tough handicap over 7f here last month though he was receiving 28lb from the runner-up and has gone up 6lb. Aussie Valentine had dropped to a winnable mark when scoring here last month and a 4lb rise isn't insurmountable but Basic Law disappointed at Tipperary on his handicap debut. ATLAS invariably runs well at this sort of level and would have given Aussie Valentine a race here last time but for being impeded. He didn't get the best of runs at Leopardstown next time either and hopefully he can get a clear run here.
