Verdict

Knock Stars led inside the final furlong but was touched off on the line by The Gondolier over 7f at Sligo and again finished runner-up in what looked a strong claimer at Down Royal on Friday. This trip looks ideal. Jambalaya has run three times over 7f and showed some pace so this could be her trip and Johnny Murtagh takes the ride despite Aidan O'Brien being represented by Mist. Long Time Coming didn't appreciate the very fast ground at Galway and is better than that while Heir To The Mint is another who looks capable of better on his handicap debut. YELLOW DANDY wasn't beaten far by Inca Princess on her second start on ground with some give at Fairyhouse before a fair effort in a huge field on much faster going over the course and distance. She is progressing nicely and has got into the weights with what looks a fair mark.
