Verdict

Jim Bolger has won this twice in the last five years and complicates matters by saddling a pair here. It's difficult to see Paene Magnus winning this as he's a specialist at Dundalk where all of his five victories have come, including two at this level. PARISH HALL must be the one despite picking up a Group 3 penalty for his victory here last July. His overall form at this sort of level and higher suggests he'll be very difficult to beat. Aussie Valentine attracted some support against the selection here in April but picked up an injury during the race and trailed home last. Ger Lyons reaches for the blinkers for Chopin, who was having his first start for almost a year when well beaten at Leopardstown in April and will need to return to the sort of form he showed in 2013, as will Ed Dunlop's Manndawi who was trained in France when narrowly beaten by Flintshire in the Grand Prix De Paris that year.
