Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won this for the past four seasons including with Saxon Warrior a year ago. The stable have three runners here, the newcomer Japan, a 1.3million gns son of Galileo taking on more experienced rivals in NORWAY, a full-brother to Derby winner Ruler Of The World who caught the eye over 7f here in July, and Sydney Opera House, surprisingly beaten when long odds-on at Leopardstown though the choice of Donnacha. Patrick Sarsfield was four lengths behind in that latter event though should get closer as he needed the experience while Tinandali and the €225,000 Sea The Stars colt Mr Secretary are newcomers to note.
