Rublevka Star came up against two in-form rivals when a close third behind Slapper and Tsar Paul at Limerick and should have come on for the outing. However, CONNYELLA, who was less than a length behind in fourth, had better overall form last season and may be good enough to take this moderate event despite still being a maiden after 13 career starts. Fire Drill has shown the occasional glimpse of form but could need an extra furlong while Annalast produced an effort at Down Royal last June that would put him in here with an outstanding chance at these weights. Rum Raisin began the last campaign from a 10lbs higher mark but he's another who finds winning very difficult.
