The Gordon Elliott bandwagon is rolling merrily along now after a quiet summer and ECLAIR DE BEAUFEU appeals considerably for the yard here. The French import was backed as if defeat was not contemplated on stable debut at this track recently but the son of Monitor Closely was beaten into third spot in a large-field maiden hurdle.
