Verdict

Rockfish reappeared after a break to beat CHAPARRAL DREAM a head over slightly further at Dundalk before almost defying a 5lb rise on a return visit. The latter is 3lb better off and led until the closing stages so can reverse the form. Stormy Tale's third place at Naas was in a poor claimer and Jim Bolger's Fiannaiocht is making her handicap debut and shown little. Mills On Tour ran a bit better on heavy ground here last time and an opening mark of 62 doesn't look excessive. The market may prove the best guide to the remainder in a poor quality event.
