In depth

Verdict

AMOUR FOU showed nothing as a juvenile but it was a different matter on his return here last month when he was always prominent and stayed on strongly to score over the minimum trip. Better is to come and a 7lb rise doesn't look excessive. Measured Approval goes from strength-to-strength and looks certain to improve again after a fine effort at Navan where he showed a very good attitude to beat Suspect Device. Edenshaw is still a maiden but will surely be winning soon as he's been showing tremendous pace in better company than this on ground with plenty of give. He's a big threat along with Khelino, the winner of the opening race at this meeting last year.
