Realt Den Chathair showed his liking for fast ground at Wexford in July but that was over 2m and he's been nowhere near as far as this. Zaralabad is a regular winner on the level and has no problems staying this trip so he's on the short-list despite a big weight. Playtime Ben won a maiden over 2m4f here before finding the minimum trip much too short while Definite Ridge won a 2m7f Downpatrick maiden but was weakening when falling there on his next start. KALICO KIM won a handicap over the C&D at Kilbeggan in June and though running poorly in her two later starts both were on softer ground which she can't handle. She's given the nod in another tough race though Excellent As Usual, who beat her easily in July, could prove a threat if there's some rain.
