Verdict

CATCHERINSCRATCHER completed a double over fences in mid-summer before finishing third over timber at Kilbeggan three weeks ago. He looks a nice prospect over the bigger obstacles and is the one to beat here. Gimli's Rock was behind the selection last time but is also making his mark over fences these days. He'll like the quick ground and had almost 3l to spare over today's rival Glenstar when scoring at Tramore in August. Rockshandy could be the one to bustle up the selection as he was narrowly beaten by Gimli's Rock at Limerick in May under an inexperienced pilot and Paul Townend takes over the reigns.
