Verdict

GLENBANE GENT had over three years off the track before returning earlier this month and showed promise on his latest start at Thurles last week suggesting he could be good enough to take this very moderate contest. Lynott has been running very well on the Flat this year and though still a maiden over timber is entitled to respect from this mark. Tequila Lord has disappointed since an excellent second to Cooper's Crest at Limerick in July while Allyonice hasn't shown much over timber after improving in bumpers. Le Reveur would probably win this on the form shown when runner-up to Green To Gold at Punchestown but he looked very one-paced when beaten a long way into third at Wexford on Saturday.
