Verdict

Tom Mullins and his nephew Patrick won this a year ago with Oscar Carra and have bright prospects of completing the double with Alderwood, who attracted plenty of support on his debut at Navan a month ago and stayed on nicely after being outpaced at one stage. He will have learnt from that but faces a stiff task against MISTER MUSIC MAN, who found the ground too quick when only third at Cork last time after a fine run behind Roszas Girl on much softer going at Tramore. Point-to-point winner For Dylan needs further while Loch Garbh is held by the selection on their latest run at Cork and Tim's Approach was beaten a long way behind Miss Hyland at Naas in August.
