In depth

Verdict

CIRCLING looked a nice prospect when a close fifth in a Listed contest at the Curragh in September on only her second start so it was a surprise when she was beaten at odds-on at Dundalk on her reappearance. It's possible she didn't enjoy the artificial surface and she can finally get off the mark here. Westpeiser has been placed twice over 1m3f at Dundalk this year and has place prospects again, though it would be no surprise if the less-exposed Vintage Nouveau reversed latest running with Mick Halford's filly. Sar Oiche was third over 1m1f at Cork last month but looks a little one-paced.
