LIHOU recorded his only win in a handicap so far over course and distance last year. Back on a winning mark having just missed out over 5f here last week, David Evans’ charge may come out best. Roundhay Park won at York last month but has a high draw to overcome but Betsey Trotter has a shout if rediscovering her best. The three-year-old Hot Affair is unexposed in handicaps but has yet to race over this far and the latter comment also applies to Newyorkstateofmind, who has been thereabouts recently. Tommy G rarely wins nowadays but is not badly treated on his best form.
