Verdict

A decent opener with all but one of the seven-strong field having already won at least once. JON SNOW will make a chaser in time but is currently making giant strides over timber and never came off the bridle in landing the odds at Galway three weeks ago. Stablemate Kaatskill Nap also has plenty of scope and Nero Rock won a Sligo maiden earlier in the month. Soldiers Hill has only won at Downpatrick so far, however, and this looks a big ask for Limerick scorer Oscar Montel and the hat-trick seeking Skyace.
