Verdict

Makin The Rules confirmed why he'd been the subject of strong market confidence at Pontefract with a subsequent victory at Catterick, but a poor draw could count against him and we'll row in with CAPTAIN MYLES. Tim Pitt's gelding fluffed the start on a recent visit to the Roodee though he showed lots of early pace at Nottingham and is worth another chance. Pushkin Museum was unconsidered when successful at Newcastle and he's unlikely to be offered again at such generous odds. Brighton winner, Royal Warrior is consistent in this grade though he probably needs the handicapper to drop him a couple of pounds before he appeals for win purposes. Dreams Of Reality was unlucky in running at Haydock and Tom Dascombe's filly tries again off the same handicap mark.
