    Verdict

Felicitous undoubtedly has the best form on offer here but the form of Godolphin's string is of obvious concern and at likely odds she is hardly a betting proposition so preference is for Tawaajud, who gets the vote ahead of Cordelia. The last mentioned never got into contention on her Pontefract debut last month but there should be a lot more to come on today's faster surface for the daughter of Green Desert. Clive Brittain's Dallma showed promise at Nottingham and cannot be ruled out with improvement likely, while Princess Lavinia stepped up on her juvenile form on her return at Newmarket last month but needs to improve again. Las Beatas would not need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut but the yard's horses have tended to need their first run of the season so preference is for the Barry Hills-trained Tawaajud, who lost no caste in defeat behind the much touted Silver Touch on her debut and looked as though she would come on a bundle for the run.
