Verdict

The draw is likely to be a factor in this but SIR MAXIMILIAN is 2lb lower than when successful in the race last year and the veteran continues to churn out solid performances - connections will not be unhappy with stall six. Gabrial The Wire is not straightforward but has a touch of class and also the inside berth. Buhturi has found only one too good in two runs over 6f this season but disappointed on his only previous try over this trip. Redrosezorro arrives in peak form while Lincoln Park is likely to be in the firing-line but Three Saints Bay has the outside draw and Endowed probably needs some help from the handicapper.
